Saint-Petersburg Theatre “Russian Ballet” was created in
1976 by Bruskin Boris Mikhailovich, the main choreographer of The Mariinsky
theatre over the time of 46 years. Since 1983 Bruskin Alexander Borisovich, his
son and one of the leading soloists of th Mariinsky theatre, has been directing
the troupe. After all this time Bruskin Alexander Borisovich could create his
own unique style of choreography of the troupe. Mission of the Saint-Petersburg
Theatre “Russian Ballet” is to preserve classical heritage of The Mariinsky
Theatre.
